We read commits, not CVs.
Every role at Angee — technical or not — works in the terminal, drives agents, and ships through git. So the first interview isn't a call. It's a contribution to our open source.
$gh pr create --repo ang-ee/arp-angee
✓application received — we'll see you in review
There are no non-coding roles here. Designer, engineer, or director — you work directly with AI, in a terminal, through version control. Claude Code and Codex are your hands; git is the medium of all work, including design and copy. This very website is maintained that way. If that sounds like friction, we're not your company. If it sounds like freedom — keep reading.
How hiring works
The interview is the work
Contribute
Merged pull requests to any ang-ee repository, or a track record of well-filed, resolved issues. Applications without a GitHub ID aren’t read — the repo is the résumé. Everything you contribute goes to an AGPL public commons, not our private code, and scoped starter issues keep the ask bounded.
Reviewed in the open
Your work goes through the same plan-review and code-review gates as everything else here. You experience exactly how we work before we ever schedule a call — and we see how you take review.
Conversation
We walk through your contributions together, then pair on a real issue in a live screen-shared session — you driving Claude Code or Codex. No whiteboard puzzles; we watch how you work with agents.
Paid trial week, in person
A scoped, paid week at the office nearest you — US East Coast or Central Europe — offered only after a proven contribution record. You ship something real. Then a decision.
Agents triage applications and summarize contribution histories. Humans make every hiring decision.
Open roles
Three seats. All hands-on.
Full-time, remote-first, with offices on the US East Coast and in Central Europe. Each role page tells you exactly where to make your first contribution.
Product & Design Director
Hands-on UI · UX · art. You direct the AI — not engineers.
Own everything a human sees and touches — angee.ai, the ANGEE web runtime, and ARPEE. This is a hands-on directorship: there is no design team to delegate to and no engineering handoff at the end. You design in production, driving agents through Claude Code and Codex until the end result is live in the product and on this website.
Read the roleChief AI Engineer — ARPEE
Own the agentic ERP — and the fleet of agents that builds it.
Own ARPEE: its architecture, its roadmap, and the correctness of every line that touches money. ARPEE is built largely by agents under human review gates — you are that gate. You will run a team of agents before you run a team of people, and grow the open-source community around both.

Customer call at ten, feature live by Friday — you and your agents.
The forward-deployed profile: you talk directly to end customers, turn the conversation into a spec, drive agents to implement it, then test, deploy, and verify it live — independently, as the only human in the loop. What you learn in the field flows back into ANGEE and ARPEE.

Own part of what you build
US-market competitive salary
Benchmarked against the US market — wherever you sit.
Stock options
Real ownership in Angee, Inc., a Delaware C-corp, on standard startup terms. Everyone who builds the company owns part of it.
Remote-first, two offices
Work from anywhere; gather at the offices on the US East Coast and in Central Europe.
Agents as colleagues
You get the same agent fleet that builds ARPEE. Your output is multiplied from day one.
Apply with your GitHub ID
Three things: who you are, how to reach you, and where your contributions live. If the GitHub field is empty, nothing else gets read.
