Product & Design Director

Own everything a human sees and touches — angee.ai, the ANGEE web runtime, and ARPEE. This is a hands-on directorship: there is no design team to delegate to and no engineering handoff at the end. You design in production, driving agents through Claude Code and Codex until the end result is live in the product and on this website.

What you'll do

• Own the visual and product language across angee.ai, the ANGEE web runtime, and ARPEE — from art direction down to shipped pixels.
• Drive AI agents to implement your designs directly into the final product and website. You are the last mile of quality.
• Redesign the component library — the angee/web/ui package and its Storybook in angee-django — into a coherent, documented design system.
• Turn product vision into sequenced specs that agents can build without you standing over them.
• Direct brand and story assets: launch visuals, OG art, explainer videos.

What you must bring

• A portfolio of shipped product — real software people used, not mockup decks.
• A working AI-driven workflow: terminal, Claude Code, Codex, and git are your daily tools, not experiments.
• Enough React, Tailwind, and Storybook literacy to review and correct what agents produce.
• Taste — and the confidence to be the final quality gate for it.

Nice to have

• Motion design and brand-system experience.
• Developer-tool or B2B product aesthetics.
• A public design or open-source footprint we can look at.
