Agentic Resource Planning(ARP)

Agentic Resource Planning (ARP) is the successor category to ERP for organizations where some of the workers are AI agents. Where Enterprise Resource Planning assumed every planner is human, ARP gives agents first-class identities, scoped permissions, and audit trails, so they can operate the system directly — running invoicing, procurement, and pipeline processes — while humans approve the parts that matter.

The rename is deliberate: "enterprise" described who bought the software, while "agentic" describes who works inside it. An ARP system treats an AI agent the way an ERP treats an employee — it has an identity, a scope of authority, and a record of everything it did — instead of treating it as a chatbot bolted onto screens designed for humans.

ARPEE is the reference implementation of ARP: an open-source agentic ERP built as self-improving addons on the ANGEE framework, covering CRM, sales, purchase, inventory, and double-entry accounting in its early alpha.
