Glossary
The vocabulary of agent-run business software, defined precisely — because the difference between a copilot and a resident is the whole point.
Agentic Resource Planning(ARP)
Agentic Resource Planning (ARP) is the successor category to ERP for organizations where some of the workers are AI agents. Where Enterprise Resource Planning assumed every planner is human, ARP gives agents first-class identities, scoped permissions, and audit trails, so they can operate the system directly — running invoicing, procurement, and pipeline processes — while humans approve the parts that matter.
Agentic Company Management(ACM)
Agentic Company Management (ACM) is the practice — and emerging product category — of AI agents operating a company’s back office: bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, invoicing follow-up, procurement, and pipeline hygiene, under structural permissions with human approval gates.
Agent-native
Agent-native software is built with AI agents as first-class users from the ground up — each agent has its own identity, permission scope, and machine interface (such as MCP, the Model Context Protocol) — rather than adding a chatbot to an interface designed for humans.
